Craig Aitken and Philippa Turley have owned and lived at Sherwood Lodge since 2000 - it's our home and we enjoy people staying with us and enabling them to experience a totally unique environment. We have both traveled extensively, both as tourists and on business, and understand the things that really make visiting a place special - a clean comfortable bed, a strong shower, great food and wine, and interesting conversation!
Pete Sloan is your butler - he's here to ensure all the little (and big) things get done without you even realising they needed doing. Of course, every lodge needs a dog, and Sherwood is no exception. Molly, our young dog, races around with boundless energy and loves to go for walks with people.
We enjoy meeting people who stay at our lodge and many of them write us letters or guestbook entries about their stay, one of the best things we have received however is this video made by our guests, sisters Femi and Jimi, who stayed with us for a week in 2007.
