Welcome to Sherwood Lodge - the ideal setting for rest and relaxation.
We don't offer summer or winter rates - while the experience guests have differs by the season, the same level of service and attention to detail is offered year round, so we offer the same rates throughout the year.
All rates are quoted in New Zealand dollars and include Government Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 12.5% (15% as of 1 October 2010). The daily tariff for the Lodge Experience includes pre-dinner drinks, 4 course table d'hote dinner, accommodation, continental and/or full cooked breakfast, and full use of the lodge facilities.

Children
Families are welcome at Sherwood. The lodge is built in such a way that children do not impinge on the enjoyment of adults looking for rest and relaxation, and the property holds many exciting adventures for the young, and young at heart. If you are travelling with your family, please contact us for information about the rates and room configurations we can offer you.
Bed and Breakfast
For guests not wanting the full 'Lodge Experience' or who will be arriving late in the evening, we also offer a bed and breakfast rate. Basic evening meals are available at one of our local pubs. $175 per person
Exclusive Use of the Lodge
If you're looking for a night or weekend away with a group of family or friends, why not look at hiring the lodge for just your group? We can put together a range of dining options, from themed mystery murder dinners to buffet family dinners or BBQs, to sophisticated candlelit evenings.

Weddings
We can also assist if you are looking for a venue to hold your wedding. The rose arbour is a perfectly romantic place to exchange vows, and the tennis court offers a great base for a marquee.
There is a range of accommodation throughout the district to suit all guest budgets and requirements, as well as plenty of land at Sherwood for campervans and tents. Of course, the lodge itself is there for the bride and groom and the rest of their immediate party.
Booking and Cancellation Policies
A current credit card number with expiry date, and a 25% deposit, is required to confirm a reservation.
Due to our intimate size, cancellations affect us greatly. As a result, we have a firm cancellation policy
If your reservation is cancelled fewer than thirty days before your visit, we will retain your deposit. If we receive your cancellation within 7 days of you being due to arrive, we will charge for the total value of your booking.
We do recommend you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover yourselves in the event you have to unexpectedly cancel your bookings.
Other conditions apply to group or exclusive use bookings, and minimum stays over holiday periods may be applied. These will be discussed with you at the time of your enquiry.
